Administration Team Description
Our Administration Team is the link between ANWA-VA partners and ministry teams. They work diligently to maintain organizational documents and processes to ensure the smooth flow of information from one part to the other.
Administration Team Lead – The Administration Team Lead oversees the administrative team assuring that all ministry organizational responsibilities are being met.

Administration Team Lead Requirements
· Must have the ability to listen to and communicate with people of all ages; the ability to work with other ministry leaders; the ability to model and teach a variety of ways to effectively carry out administrative duties; the ability to organize teams, delegate responsibility, and follow up to complete tasks.
Administration Team Volunteer Requirements
Administration Team Lead – The Administration Team Lead oversees the administrative team assuring that all ministry organizational responsibilities are being met.
Administration Team Lead Responsibilities
- Administration Team Lead responsibilities are handled by the Executive Administrator of the church.
- Manage daily operations and maintain office supplies and records.
- Coordinate, plan, and execute church events.
- Assist to create budgets, pay bills, oversee payrolls, and track and record church income from donations and sales.
- Recruit and hire staff and volunteers, and oversee their work and vacation schedules.
- Handle church communications and publications, creating and distributing digital announcements and updates.
- Oversee church facility maintenance and security operations.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, renting church equipment and facilities, and enforcing church policies for facility use.
- Manage Senior Pastor’s meetings, ministry travel arrangements and calendar.
- Train the Administration Team members on how to effectively carry out the administrative duties of the church.
- Schedule team outings once per quarter to build relationships and a sense of community amongst the team.
- Identify potential leaders amongst the team who would benefit from going through ANWA-VA Leadership Training.
- Check in monthly with each individual administration team volunteer to be aware of their spiritual, mental, emotional and physical state in an in effort to maintain a holistically healthy team.
- Complete the monthly & quarterly ANWA-VA Ministry Team Evaluation Form.
Administration Team Responsibilities
- Assist Team Lead with coordinating, planning, and executing church events.
- Assist Team Lead with handling church communications and publications, creating and distributing church announcements and updates.
- Assist Team Lead with scheduling meetings, renting church equipment and facilities, and enforcing church policies for facility use.
- Maintain a weekly and monthly service count of overall attendees.
- Maintain a weekly, monthly and annual count of new partners.
- Maintain a weekly, monthly and annual count of guest attendees.
- Follow up weekly with guest attendees through email and phone calls.
- Manage guest services center during worship gatherings.
- Manage the giving kiosks during worship gatherings.
Administration Team Lead Requirements
- Must be a follower of Jesus Christ, having made a public confession of faith.
- Must be a partner of All Nations Worship Assembly-VA having completed Discovery and Foundations Class.
- Must have served as a volunteer on a ministry team of ANWA-VA for at least a year.
- Must go through ANWA-VA Leadership Development Training.
- Must attend weekly worship services and support other ministry events.
- Must attend monthly team lead meetings and host monthly meetings for the team in which you lead.
- Must be on time for all worship services, team meetings and ministry events.
- Must have experience in clerical and/or administrative duties to include organizing, typing and managing inventory.
· Must have the ability to listen to and communicate with people of all ages; the ability to work with other ministry leaders; the ability to model and teach a variety of ways to effectively carry out administrative duties; the ability to organize teams, delegate responsibility, and follow up to complete tasks.
- Must be willing to continue to grow spiritually and professionally through reading, listening to training resources, taking classes and attending conferences and seminars to help you better lead your team.
- Must be a tither and cheerful giver.
- Must be a team player.
Administration Team Volunteer Requirements
- Must be a follower of Jesus Christ, having made a public confession of faith.
- Must be a partner of All Nations Worship Assembly-VA having completed Discovery and Foundations Class.
- Must complete a ministry interest form.
- Must have experience in clerical and/or administrative duties to include organizing, typing and managing inventory.
- Must attend monthly team meetings, team trainings and support other ministry events.
- Must be on time for all worship services, team meetings and ministry events.
- Must be a team player.
