Evangelism Team Description
Our Evangelism Team is focused on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in a relevant and demonstrative way through community events aimed at leading souls to Christ. This team fulfills the great commission of our faith by presenting the gospel to people from all walks of life.
Evangelism Team Lead – The Evangelism Team Lead assures the evangelistic efforts of the church supports our vision and mission of communicating the gospel in a relevant way, for all people, for the purpose of drawing unbelievers into relationship with Jesus Christ.
Evangelism Team Lead Responsibilities
· Coordinates the planning and implementation of a comprehensive evangelism team for the church.
· Works with the Outreach Ministry Team Lead to create and carry out community outreach events that are evangelistic in nature. At least one event per quarter.
· Familiarizes themselves with curriculum resources for teaching evangelism, facilitating there uses, and being able to recommend appropriate resources for all age levels and faith stages. Resources must be approved by the Senior pastor before being used for training and development.
· Meets at least once a month with the evangelism team for training and development in evangelism. This can be done in person or virtually.
· Links with organizations, people, and resources in and beyond the congregation that are concerned with evangelism.

· Links with organizations, people, and resources in and beyond the congregation that are concerned with evangelism.
Evangelism Team Lead Requirements
· Must have the ability to listen to and communicate with people of all ages; the ability to work with other ministry leaders; the ability to model and teach a variety of ways of evangelism; the ability to organize teams, delegate responsibility, and follow up to complete tasks.
Evangelism Team Volunteer Requirements

Evangelism Team Lead Responsibilities
- Communicates the priority of evangelism in accordance with the vision and mission of our church.
· Coordinates the planning and implementation of a comprehensive evangelism team for the church.
· Works with the Outreach Ministry Team Lead to create and carry out community outreach events that are evangelistic in nature. At least one event per quarter.

- Schedules team outings once per quarter to build relationships and a sense of community amongst the team.
- Identifies potential leaders amongst the team who would benefit from going through ANWA-VA Leadership Training.
- Checks in monthly with the volunteers of the evangelism team to be aware of their spiritual, mental, emotional and physical state in an effort to maintain a holistically healthy team.
- Completes the monthly & quarterly ANWA-VA Ministry Team Evaluation Form.
Evangelism Prayer Team Responsibilities
- Supports the vision and mission of communicating the gospel in a relevant way, for all people, for the purpose of drawing unbelievers into relationship with Jesus through evangelistic efforts.
- Communicates the priority of evangelism in accordance with the vision of our church.
- Serves during community outreach events that are evangelistic in nature.
· Links with organizations, people, and resources in and beyond the congregation that are concerned with evangelism.
Evangelism Team Lead Requirements
- Must be a follower of Jesus Christ, having made a public confession of faith.
- Must be a partner of All Nations Worship Assembly-VA having completed Discovery and Foundations Class.
- Must have served as a volunteer on a ministry team of ANWA-VA for at least a year.
- Must go through ANWA-VA Leadership Development Training.
- Must agree to the Evangelism Team Policies and Procedures
- Must have a firm understanding of evangelism as it relates to building and sustaining a supportive evangelistic culture for the vision and mission of ANWA-VA.
· Must have the ability to listen to and communicate with people of all ages; the ability to work with other ministry leaders; the ability to model and teach a variety of ways of evangelism; the ability to organize teams, delegate responsibility, and follow up to complete tasks.
- Must attend weekly worship services and support other ministry events.
- Must attend monthly team lead meetings and host monthly meetings for the team in which you lead.
- Must be on time for all worship services, team meetings and ministry events.
- Must be a tither and cheerful giver.
- Must be a team player.
Evangelism Team Volunteer Requirements
- Must be a follower of Jesus Christ, having made a public confession of faith.
- Must be a partner of All Nations Worship Assembly-VA having completed Discovery and Foundations Class.
- Must complete an Evangelism Team interest form.
- Must agree to the Evangelism Team Policies and Procedures
- Must attend monthly team meetings, team trainings and support other ministry events.
- Must be on time for all worship services, team meetings and ministry events.
- Must be a team player.
